Let me start by telling you a little about how we got started. We have always had a love of dogs. I have always loved and owned the energetic, loyal Australian Shepherds and my husband enjoyed the laid back Basset Hounds. We fell in love with our first English Bulldog one night on the way to town. She was apparently dumped on the side of the road. It appeared she had been walking for some time. She was dehydrated and scared from many years of untreated flea allergies. We brought her to the vet and attempted to find her owner. Well in the mean time we fell in love with this new found porch ornament. After a few months she developed a uterine infection which ended fatally. It was heartbreaking and we wanted another bulldog. We started looking for bulldogs not knowing anything but that we loved the breed. After looking long and hard. We found a breeder "going out of business" due to illness and blindly said we could do this. So we took the four hour trip to north Texas and bought our English bulldog breeding business. One year, 10,000.00 dollars, and a lot of heartache later we learned it was harder than we originally thought. Being hard headed Hardee's we started researching a lot, we called and visited with every bulldog breeder that would talk to us, and I went to work as a vet tech to learn even more. It didn't take us long to realized we had been took by the "breeder" who sold us her "retired" dogs. We then started painstakingly looking and buying our breeding stock. We ran test looked and the mother's and the father's and found the healthiest dogs with the best conformation and paper work we could find. This cost us quite a bit of time and money. Then in December of 2007 we were blessed for our efforts with our first really good litter of eight beautiful puppies. Two of which we kept to continue our efforts of producing quality puppies. In the mean time we started breeding Basset Hounds, Standard Aussies and I got my first Toy Aussie. All of our adult dogs are kept in well maintained kennels or in our home, fed the best food available, played with and walked daily with regular vet checks. I left my job at the vet to spend more time with the dogs. We enjoy comments and feed back on our web site. So if you have a comment or suggestion please contact us.
